Is this the PCB you are talking about?

I've no idea BeanZ, I build the 4.5 as per the specs, blew up the output transistor because I forgot to fit the snubber network on the output terminal. Once I had it sorted, I didn't bother to check the power. Just drove it into a dummy load at near clipping overnight to check on it's survival. I run it straight from my CD via a pot into the amp and it makes my ears sore. I guess in truth it would depend on the output of the CD. The interest in the Super Amp is for a friend who wants to build one. I don't think that that sort of power is needed unless you wish to drive a sub bass speaker. If I measured the power output into my dummy load it would be into a 7 ohm load because I use toaster elements in parallel as a general high powered load (around 600W).
My Amp is built into a 1950's Marconi HF transmitter tuning capacator...plenty of aluminium fins!
Cheers

If you want the ExpressPCB file, I think that I can still send it to you if you email a request to me. ExpressPCB is a free circuit board layout program available for download at not cost at www.expresspcb.com

I would also like to tell everyone that I have a second copy of the above board populated for sale if anyone wants it. The circuit board includes an inadequate soft-start circuit, fan controllers, two channel 10LED VU meter, separate zobel network, a clipping indicator circuit, and a triac AC circuit which operates in the first and third quatrants for the primary of the main transformer......

Bottom line...email with your requests.

Thanks for all of you which have showed interest in the project. I am currently searching for the original complete and final ExpressPCB file to distribute to those who requested it. I do have readily available an ExpressPCB file of a single channel amplifier only. I can easily make this a dual channel and send to right away. I am going to need more time to find the final PCB file used on the project....I will post to this thread when I have located it.
