Oh yes, I have Visaton FRS5X somewhere and also a pair of 2" Sica fullrangers. Might be worth trying out with a 3D printed adapter.
I printed a some flanges, two more are printing. The drivers under test will be:

All reduced by a short conical section to 36 mm (the 1" driver is of course expanding).
