What is the weather supposed to be like in Toronto on Thursday?
Attachments
Weather? 3 days from now?? In Canada???
My best guess is "cold"
🙂
Considering the temperature here in TN, cold was expected. I wasn't as sure about snow. I know that can change rapidly also, that is why I ask someone in Toronto.
stinius,
Thanks for that.

It would be nice to have weather related single numbers for Toronto.
Temp downtown is now 18F (feels like 3F), snow is about 3".
25 miles north where I live, temp is 12F (feels like -1F), we got over 1ft. of snow over the weekend. More to follow by the end of the week.
I understand. You are unwilling to post your files, so there is no way to verify your claims.
So now you're just content to be a troll?
I already have posted my files and anyone who has downloaded and run them can check my claims pretty damn easilly.
I thought I would come out from under my bridge long enough to ask another question. Has anyone downloaded and run the files that GK claims to have posted? When LTspice opens them I only see a text file. Does anyone know if he is using LTspice?
Steve;
I feel for you, man. This is also why I have just skulked here instead of posting anything of my own design.
For what it's worth, I simulated your design in Simmetrix, which I much prefer over LTSpice - I have to admit that the circuit behaviour IS rather strange, and has me scratching my head over whether it is the transistor models or the SPICE analysis that is incorrect.
Happy New Year from the very cold southEast of South Carolina !!!

Thank you. Yes, the circuit behavior is a little strange. I hope you were simulating the schematic I posted, not the different on posted earlier by someone else.
What strange behavior did you observe?

🙄 In post 204, which has the sim files attached:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/solid-state/151295-krill-next-generation-21.html#post2009670
It clear to anyone that I am using LTspice. They are *.asc files, with an added *.txt extension to allow them to be posted as attachments - remove then *.txt to load them into LTspice.

That link leads back to this page. I know where the files are posted, otherwise I wouldn't have said anything about the text file. I had tried removing the .txt, but it still opened as a text file. I tried on another and it loaded. I see you are still not using the schematic I posted, so our results will be different.

Uh-hu, uh-hu. That link leads directly to post 204 (just checked it again) and I provided the link not just for you.
As for the schematic, it is based on andy_c's version, which is the exact same one you downloaded, run and produced pdf files of the screen shots to 'prove' the operation of this circuit.
As for the results being different, they were not. I replicated your results (as shown in your pdf files), as detailed in post 204.

The schematic I posted is here:

The one you posted in post 204 has several differences. I don't see how the results could be the same.
Does your modus operandi ever deviate from disingenuous evasion?
The circuits don’t differ in any important way as far as the analysis of this circuit is concerned and post 204 was in reply to your two “epiphany” post’s right here:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/solid-state/151295-krill-next-generation-14.html#post1997550
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/solid-state/151295-krill-next-generation-14.html#post1997615
Those were posts 138 and 140, incase the links don’t work for you again.

The links haven't been working for me either. 😕
Looks like a bug. 😱

Works fine for me.

GK's links work for me - both in IE8 and Firefox 3.5.7 IE8 opens a new window and the thread - Firefox takes me directly to the thread without a new window.
Hope this might help - I suggest that you check your version of browser and perhaps firewall settings as well as pop-up blockers etc. 🙂
If you have "Show 20 Posts Per Page" set then the links works, I have mine set to 40.
GK's link below:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/solid-state/151295-krill-next-generation-14.html#post1997615
It's looking for bookmark #post1997615 on page #14. This page (the last page) is page #9 for me, so the link doesn't work, if just jumps to the top of this page.

Here is what I'm using and things seem to link correctly
In the User CP
Edit Options
Thread Display Options
Thread Display Mode = Linear – Oldest First
Number of Post to Show Per Page = Use Forum Default
Default Thread Age Cut Off = Use Forum Default
Perhaps this will help to reveal any bugs in the search and link logic.
MS would not call such a thing a "bug" - it would be a "user defined enhancement" 🙄

Well that admission is good enough for me.🙄
