this thread has pics showing one pair of 40mF smoothing caps for the single channel amp. But some others are showing 2pair of 40mF in parallel, I presume still for one channel.
Can you confirm which models of KSA100 run with what smoothing capacitance?

The schematic tell me is a Ebm Papst 4800X.

Indeed. Although I'd rather recommend getting a Papst one with lower airspeed. They've a huge range.

I have some extra boards and can accomodate at least the minimum amount of all your requests at this time. This would be for the Gold Plated boards. Not for the solder mask boards. There are only a few of those left and I have to save those as a just in case sort of thing. Those that requested any extras are listed below.... Please let me know this weekend if possible as I will be out of town starting Monday for two weeks.

Replace for current Source diode

Sorry if I jump in and ask something already answerd, is there any replacement I can do for 1N5309 I have looked all over local shop I get nothing. I just thing about LED or something for replace 1N5309 any suggestion ?

I have looked at adding a two transistor CCS to the PCB but it's going to look messy, even piggy back fashion.
If I add a few components to stiffen the CCS rail supply and clean up any rail modualtion then the one component 1n5309/509 becomes ten components, even messier.
Looks like I will have to order them by the ten and put up with the extra carriage charge. Same goes for the FETs.
I have found a 1.3C/W sink for the drivers that fits beautifully and acts as the PCB mounting as well. It's half of an SK102, 50mm long. One has 8fins (1.28C/W) and the other has 9fins (1.14C/W)
drilled and tapped for two setscrew fixings through the amp base plate. A 66x110mm or 66x100mm hole through the base for an air inlet and the fins form the grille.

if the CCS current is increased in the LTP (BJT) first stage it increases the amplification of that stage and can cause the amplfier to oscillate due to excessive feedback lowering the phase margin.how many mA in current source in this krell with the current in output stage ?in short what will happend if the current source higher than 3mA
Does the same apply to the LTP (FET) second stage?
