Anybody else interested?

Being my very first diy audio project, my mesa recto didn't come out that good,,, I mean, it's ok but it could have gone better,,, overall, being a first project i'd give it a straight 7 considering I touched a soldering iron about half a time before that, it went pretty ok I'd say :)
here's two [rather crappy] clips of it:

Also, here [ http://www.google.com/patents?id=_7k7AAAAEBAJ&dq=Randall+C.+Smith ] is a patent by Randall C. Smith, the mesa engineer who patented a lot of their stuff,,, if you search on google patents for his name, you can find a lot of interesting readings,,, have fun!!

Hi all, this is what's comin' outta my latest build - Bogner XTC replica preamp.

This amps is a no frills, one channel gain machine, equipped with a tubescreamer circuit on board.
The power section is off of the AX-84 project [ ]. PT is a custom wound toroidal built to fit, like the rest of the amp, into a 19" single unit rack mount chassis. Almost all resistors are metal film, all caps are orange drop, silver mica or elna cerafine. Rectifier diodes are ultra-FREDS rated for 1300Vac - 3A.

:devilr:
this is not me recording nor playin [so it sounds good'n'nice imho], but the guy who helped in building this doin the theory part,,, guitar is an ESP M-1000 neckthru, EMG-81 bridge pickup. I got more clips if anyone's interested.

This amp was also used to record the solos for the upcoming album of Fleshgod Apocalypse [http://www.myspace.com/fleshgodapocalypse] at 16th Cellar Studio [http://www.myspace.com/16thcellarstudio] - we'll see how it sound produced seriously :devilr:

BTW, it would be nice to have a sticky section for sound clips.

Hi guyz,
Do you have any idea of WHERE THE HACK CAN I FIND ANY KRANK CIRCUITS :bawling: ?
Man, I searched web and some circuits pages, but with no result.
I realy need them bad. Even something that differ from the classic amps, like tone stack parts, or distortion chain, whatever.
I have something like a peavey 5150 II handbuilt, but I still search for that bestial krankin` sound. It seems that nothing like a circuit even exists.
Thx.

Hi guys,
I know this thread is a bit old but FYI I was able to find the wiring diagram for Krankenstein. If someone is still interested you can leave a post here or pm me and I'll mail you then.
Be adviced. This is not my work and I guess voltages need to be checked very carefully, as the schematic I found is not showing any information.
I think this could be a good starting point, btw.
