I don't believe you can generalise like that... plus you may have heard of CE/FCC and EMS compliance... Each machine would have to be measured as there are differences, but most will be tested and have some sort of filtering to avoid EMC compliance problems....
This becomes a moot point if you use mains line communication of course, which is EMC exempt because it works by adding EMI to your mains wiring!
And what would you suggest to clean it up?

Ref the earth argument and all the dangerous discussion on audiofool sites about 'technical earth' there is the fact that there is plenty of not well designed equipment out there were signals head down the PE in their hunt for a way home. They shouldn't but they do, esp if magic cables are used. In that scenario it does make sense to make sure all earthed equipment is plugged into a distribution setup that gives lowest impedance between earths on those units.

But this is just good practice and basic understanding. If you need to start linking equipment chassis together seperately then something else would tend to be wrong.

Link spam as proof? BTW the paper from which you quote doesn't appear to support your conclusion, and the two I browsed have at best marginal relevance to the discussion at hand. ............
While it's had to tell just which of the papers you think are spam, we do know who the experts in this area are.

For all encompassing electronics:
Ralph Morrison
Henry Ott
Keith Armstrong

For audio electronics, the above and:
Neil Muncy
Jim Brown
Bill Whitlock
Tony Waldron with Keith Armstrong
Bruno Putzeys

It would be very disrespectful to suggest that any of these experts are writing spam.

Don't forget:
Dr. Bruce Archambeault

But your list covers the people who's papers I referenced just as an eclectic mix, they all have references to further reading for those that are really interested in the science behind all of this🙂
Actually I'm the one spamming by putting up these irrelevant links🙂

No one will ever be able to refute these ridiculous product claims sufficiently enough to stop the snake oil salesman. Everyone wants to believe, and therefore we are all somewhat vulnerable to their hoodoo voodoo. there will always be enough victims to keep these scams going. If any of the money they make was used to research the science, even the scammers would be forced to admit they have nothing. But alas, they cannot be bothered. So their mysterious lack of scientific supporting data is forever guaranteed. Watch your wallets, gentlemen.

I quite agree that there must be a safety earth.
Some hifi sets are double insulated and if this is true the cable will only be two core and the label on the back will show the double insulated symbol.
The point is that the high impedance of the box will have an insignificant effect.
What it could do is to act like an aerial and cause the amplifier to blow a big raspberry if a mobile (cell) phone rings close by.
So there is a risk that it could make things worse.

Span, you are joking aren't you or is it spam because it is science based....
Ground is a myth if you don't believe it that's your problem.

Since you asked for an explanation, it's spam because you didn't use the contents to create an argument or build a case. You just spammed links. That should be obvious.
Have you considered leveraging that style of science by building a glorious career at companies like AD that continue to err by publishing articles about grounding techniques? Those links might be wasted here. Bring plenty of coal anecdotes.

It should be noted that Marce is a professional electron herder and works herding them in an environment that is often critical to life. If the companies he worked for turned up saying their new machine needed to be hooked up to a wooden box with special ground wire their market share would plummet as would his ongoing employment.
