I just saw a problem with this amplifier. The amplifier is clipping with the gain pot all the way down. If I turn it up then down the signal goes clear, then raises till clipping again slowly. Would this be a problem with the pot? If I look at the output signal from the preamp board it looks good. If I press down on the pot it returns to a normal signal. Do you have a part number for this pot?
Signal trace and measure the DC voltages on all of the opamps.
Also, check the remote gain terminal for any bent pins,that may be shorting. Broken traces,cold solder joints.
There may be an 100uf NP cap that is shorting to the preamp board. This occurs on other models,but may have a similar issue.
