The following is a link to Mouser. It's best when buying replacement semiconductors to use reputable vendors such as Mouser and Digikey. Buying parts on Ebay can be risky because of potentially fake parts.

Finding any shorted outputs or other failed components before purchasing new will reduce the number of parts you need, saving costs, however you should buy a few more than you need in case you damage freshly installed parts which can happen to any experienced tech.

When replacing power supply mosfets (IRF3205's in this case) if you have a shorted outputs you will cause the mosfets to fail again, which is another reason why its important to check for shorted parts before installing fresh ones.

I don't recall what the N stands for but it's not an issue, someone else may know.

ok sweet ty i check them out quick question so i trying to do these tests so told to prob leg 1and 2 then 1 and 3 then 2 and 3 so have meter set to Kohms nothing touching nothing it says OL i touch 1 and 2 i get OL then i touch 1 and 3 i get OL then i touch 2 and 3 and the reading keeps going up and up is this right ?

If all of the 640's and 9640's test the same try increasing the range of your meter to 200K ohm. This will give you some practice with your meter and allow you to see how the different ranges react for that meter.

I would be surprised if you found no shorted output transistors, If that's the case check the D61 & D63 in the same manner. Keep in mind the meter will read near zero ohms between Legs 1 & 3 charging action between Legs 1 & 2 and Legs 2 & 3.

FET is just shorthand for Mosfets.

It appears that one out of both banks of the IRF9640's is shorted. Remove all of the 9640's.

Be sure to clean up the solder as you did with the IRF3205's and recheck the board where the 9640's were. The readings should match the results of the IRF640's.
