Also I found a cracked 1n4742a diode for the tip412 side. I replaced them both. Now I have 16.99vdc across the c12-c11. It still goes into protection if I have input and turn up the gain. Also when I go to test the voltages if q101 if grounded at C11 when I touch center leg protection kicks in.
Are you now seeing 5 Volts at Pins 4 & 6 of U3 when black probe on the negative speaker?
Monitor the +/-OVP and OCP Pin 6 U3 when turning the Gain up.
Are you getting undistorted ouput prior to going into protection?

I have audio distorted, but yes right before the Amp trips protection it has clear audio briefly. It draws too much current for my supply tripping the protection.
As u turn the gain when u finally get it just below 1/2 clear audio then protection.

Something on the input board is not right.
I have tried changing all opamps, u302, u303, u300, u301 no avail. Still distorted.
I tried this beacuse the a friend was saying somefhing about an unbalanced input.
D100-d106 value?
Still the high voltage on pins 2-3 of opt101
I pulled the output inductor measured a perfect 83.65uH
And all the capacitors and resistors in output section test good 10uF, and the 2R is good as well.
Any ideas?

D100 and D106 are 1N5241B-11V zener, D101 and D107 are 1N5231B-5.1V zener. D29 and D41 are 1N4148.
Check L101-14uH.
Check the continuity from the node between L100/L101 and C203/R202 on the class D control board.

OK so I went back to that side with the high voltage. D106 was reading 81.65v not 11.65 changed it and the Q102 had turned diode. Once the voltage was regulated the amplifier started producing perfect 40hrz through the shop sub. And drawing around 2.3amps of current.
It is back to working perfectly.
