During the last few years I have been playing a little with KiCAD and have some drawings of more and less well known commercial designs, as well as designs from diyAudio and other forums. Many boards have been routed and a few have been produced. So far, some are being built, but only the Pioneer Superlinear has been tested by a friend of mine. Worked fine.

Now I wonder if someone is interrested in a KiCAD Kick start (I know I would, when I started) by exploring my KiCAD project folders? You may download everything or just a little. Use it, misuse it, alter it.... no copyrights on my part.

What I don't know is if there is a time limit or download limit to these Dropbox links. Anyway, we'll find out.

If the interrest is there, I will post the link.

The most recent designs are made using the current version. But when opening and saving files made with earlier versions you get the opportunity to save to the current version. "Older" designs may require this. Note that many older designs that are already manufactured, have the Gerbers included.

Why not post them here? Worst case you would have to zip them to post here, but I believe they are on the list of approved file types.
Before you post make sure there is no IP (logos, names, etc) that belongs to others on silk screens, other layers or in the schematics. 😀

I am a big fan of KiCad and have been using it for more than a decade.

I said a few boards, but in fact there are quite many. All my time would be spent managing the task of presenting them.
But if someone will make a thread on a design which is not already covered in another thread, I will participate if I can.

A little note, please don't delete, edit or do ANYTHING inside this folder. Just explore and copy.
I only have Dropbox free version and cannot set permissions on shared links, or so I believe.
So please!

All boards are made by me. Schematics are found on forums and elsewhere on internet. Designs from service manual are probably copyrighted and I advise not to produce and sell. Remember this is all for fun and hobby!

Kleinhorn: Many folders have PCB made also. The folders that contain a Gerber folder have probably been produced or are ready to be. Other projects have PCB ready routed but not Gerberified yet. But if you check the size of the .pcb file, you could make a qualified guess, I think.

Or you could ask me of course.
