so that any circuit simply can't draw you out from behind the stove!

@bucks bunny
With your wealth of experience, however, it would be very desirable if we young people (I am no longer young) could benefit from it and learn from it /you.

Please submit at least one circuit proposal from your side, give us a homework assignment. For example, we could describe how your favorite equalizer works, describe it exactly, but you have to post this circuit with complete dimensioning of the components here in this diyaudio(dot)com forum.

Closing words:

My research and search in this forum last night brought to light that the pseudo-argument of the click & pop behavior of a theoretical EQ is cited again and again, in this context the overdrive reserve /margin, the behavior when overdriven and the better sound image ... hotly debated.

I have no intention of perpetuating this silly topic.
Over the past week, I've simply read too much nonsense here on board - it's either stupid or dishonest on the part of the experts.

Dear reader and self-builder,
just enjoy your personal work. After all, if an EQ complies with the technical requirements, then everything is fine.

Bye,
HBt.
