Just found a HUGE stash of PIO caps - are they any good?

All this talk about the old PCB caps being safe as long the don't leak, IF the leak , you will not have another one around. The stench is terrible and can linger for months. Please be careful if you use them.

Ya... Best to avoid PCB filled parts. And yes, charge the cap slowly through a resistor, or don't.

I never do. I've had only one cap give up, and if I didn't know better, I'd think it was labelled backwards.

I'm a big fan of a visual clue of what part has failed 😛
