No, I solder the components directly to the copper, the purpose of the PCB was to show that the copper is SPLIT just right of the opamp. The copper on the left has all power ground soldered to it and on the left all the Vsense parts.
This PCB is un drilled and obviously has nothing present on it, ie no join between left and right copper.

Yes it seems like I have more then enough to look into now, and information to read. I think my first port of call is to try powering the opamp separately (this is easy to do) and see if that solves anything.
Ill get back to you all once I've tried everything.
