After several years on DIYaudio as an enthusiast, I’m now working with EJ Jordan Designs and have got the go-ahead from Ted to offer a group buy to DIYaudio members.

Jordan loudspeaker drive units
The Eikona 2 is normally £155 each. For a purchase of 12 units or more, the price drops to £115. (VAT applies if in the EU.)
This group buy is limited to 20 pairs.
Units are supplied in pairs (consecutive serial numbers), with mounting gaskets and double-boxed for shipping. There are pictures of the drivers and boxes on the Jordan Facebook page.

I’ll handle the orders and despatch, which means that this is not limited to one geographical area. I’ll post shipping quotes here as members ask for them.

Hi - Shipping to the USA is £38 per pair.
If any of you want more than one pair shipped together as one package to one address, for distribution at your cost when they reach the States, I can look into the cost of that. For example, four boxed pairs as one package would cost £78 to ship from here. However you'd have to factor in repacking the boxed pairs into new shipping boxes at your end.

This is the boxed pair. Box size is 43 x 21 x 12 cms.

I'll act as a "shipping hub" here in the States is anyone is interested. I've done business with Norman Bates here on the forum, and I have a lengthy eBay history (my name there is knarfor, also).

A pair in the White boxes shown in the pic are 3.0 kgs. Double boxed for shipping, around 3.5 kgs.
I should be able to ship a pair anywhere in the US for a maximum of $15.00 (including packaging). Assuming four orders in the US:
£78.00 ($122.39) to get four to me, plus $15.00 to ship each to their final destination. That works out to $45.60 total shipping per pair.
That's a $14+ savings.

Perfect timing Colin, I'd just shortlisted the Eikona 2 for my 5.1 project so this group buy has decided it for me. Unfortunately I obviously only want 5! So I'll say yes to 2 pairs please and if someone is interested in buying a single unit, then I'd like three pairs.
As for delivery, I live in West Wales so is it possible to collect?

Hi Gary - OK, I'll put you down for two pairs now and see how it progresses. These days the stock is warehoused in Lancaster, rather than at Ted's in Pembrokeshire. When we know how many I'm sending I'll sort a shipping quote.
