Yes, but I can use it with or without subs, for this experiment I've been using them full range without subs
No. (I'm slowly learning to be corporate ;-)So far I've found looking for square waves to be a waste of time, I can get something close but it depends on frequency and mic position, which seems to be other's findings too.
Why would you need permission to use the technology or the devices if the patent had expired? There was a great deal of negotiation to get these parts at an affordable price, and finally the patent expired on the MR's and Jack Bybee virtually gave me permission to use the devices.
What I haven't done but should do is check the square wave from the online generator 🙂 I've checked it, not pretty but good enough

Hey George,
No corrosion on the contact end
Thank you Bob.
I had to ask to make sure this wasn’t contributing in audible degradation.
George

If you have dsp capability on your subs it might be worth a try? You might find it ‘better’ 😀
Joking aside the window on the adjustment is so small (at least by ear) that maybe the visual aid is the ticket......if it’s even the same thing, but it sure sounds like it is.
Have you tried it?No. (I'm slowly learning to be corporate ;-)
Han's,
"Unfortunately I could not hear a difference"??
Why is that unfortunate? It's just a data point.
Jn
Unfortunately because I would have welcomed to hear a difference.
If corrosion would cause an obvious effect then ......
Call it just a data point if you like, but it doesn’t look promising.
And as a matter of fact, all ends where thoroughly cleaned and soldered, just to be sure that the contact surfaces were the same and of exactly the same quality.
Last but not least it is fair to say that I hear quite a difference with my regular speaker cables, maybe mains cable is too Lo-Fi.
But at least I tried something.
Hans
But at least I tried something.
Thank you for giving it a try.
May I ask for some more details, similar to things like George likes to know: e.g. What does the whole signal path consist of?
What's "an organic touch"? Sounds faintly perverse
Touch as in scoring off another mark, kaching another $100 in the till.
Thank you for giving it a try.

I’m almost hesitating to reply, because it’s completely over the top.
But here it is, I did the test with:
Jriver on PC
Bel Canto USB to ST fiber converter
ST Fiber
Bel Canto Dac 3.5
XLR Nordost Valhalla
Bruno Putzeys balanced preamp
XLR Nordost Valhalla
Mark Levinson 20.6 class A with new developed amp
MIT speaker cable
Quad ESL 63
Ah, there's the problem, not revealing enough 🙂 (or you're deaf)I’m almost hesitating to reply, because it’s completely over the top.

You think? Then how would you compare the system Hans described to what Bob is using?
On the other joke idea you wrote, Hans is not deaf. Bob is not imagining things either. Nor did PMA. How do you figure it?

But the Quads do a fine job with square waves!
I'm kinda glad real life got in the way the last 24 hours as this thread has really circled the drain today with no apparant progress other than Hans trying to test something.

Not that it matters, but at that moment in time the system was:
Elac discovery ds-s101g server/streamer/dac
Pangea rca out
Yamaha R-N803 YPAO integrated- Burhoe Acoustics/Blues (slightly modified)
Sonance sonamp 260- 2x10” precision power Sedona subs
Green Monster cable speaker wire (The Hulk edition) 😛
Ended up with Cardas 101
