Hi Robert,
You are kidding me - right?
You do know that most of us accept that you can hear differences between equipment, but we also trust our measurements. The only problems I can see you having is when the claims get too far off the reservation. We do need some repeatable proofs to accept any claim. That is certainly not ignoring anyone or anything. It is the safety mechanism that prevents the industry from being overrun with false claims. In fact, the industry is awash in products with very dubious claims for performance.
So what reasonable requests that "we" make annoy or upset you?
-Chris

It appears that Dan, Richard and I are under surveillance by the 'audio police'. I recommend to you other suspects out there to not 'audio Jaywalk' or commit another such crime. '-)
LOL, thanks John. Perhaps one day they will drop their belief systems and use their senses.
Our future world will be one of 5G transmitters throughout our living spaces and work places, and on just about every street lamp post.
There is much research showing biological effects of non ionising EMR, what to do about it ?.
Better audio and wines are but one product of what I am exploring.
Dan.
Don't forget your tinfoil hat while exploring, helps to protect from that wireless EMR.

I take it you are unaware of the attacks on diplomatic personnel in Cuba and China. Tin foil hats probably would have prevented the redulting brain damage.

You're aware it's just one unproven theory with no evidence, right?

I am concerned about the usual increase in distortion with each playing if it was the same record played after being cleaned with different machines.
THx-RNMarsh
George played a record 150 times and distortion went down!

Now that could be an explanation.

They played Mozart. Mozart lost. 😀
Knowing what I now know, wearing an aluminium foil hat is the very last thing I would do, ditto drinking or eating from aluminium cans or packaging.Don't forget your tinfoil hat while exploring, helps to protect from that wireless EMR.

They will never believe you Dan. You are 400 years too early! '-)
Yes, especially in those iPhone-audio memory location based listening tests.

Sigh...
Microwaves explain some of the symptoms, but not all.
Acrylic goggles are required to prevent the brain injuries.

And, what do you know?Knowing what I now know, wearing an aluminium foil hat is the very last thing I would do, ditto drinking or eating from aluminium cans or packaging.
Dan.
Is it the Alzheimer's thing?

I don't think there is direct metallic contact in most packaging these days anyway. I survived the Patio Mexican TV dinners of the 60's that would dissolve the container.

You say that, yet you ended up designing ICs, not discretes! Shame!
(ducks and runs...)

You guys are really frustrated. Not John or Richard of course, but the rest of you, wow.
I would think the opposite, deciding what effect or amount of sweetening distortion is best could become very frustrating.
An interesting read, thanks for the link.
When reading this, I found that it was far too vague. It certainly does not support the possibility that microwaves were used in Cuba or China.
However, the most important actual hard fact I found was located on the first page lower left.

Sounds really high faultin, right? Look up the founder of that organization, Arthur Firstenberg, as well as his history.
