If you understand the grant process, you can make a fortune on the pro-AGW side, and quite a few people have. But now we're edging toward politics, so I'll leave it at that.
Recent issue of the Independent Review. I'll leave it there. Oh wait --- I'll also refer you to Freeman Dyson's recent remarks in the "scholarly" press. If you understand the grant process, you can make a fortune on the pro-AGW side, and quite a few people have. But now we're edging toward politics, so I'll leave it at that.
OK.
I am so busy now this forum is pure recreation.
Hey Stuart
You are the plastic man, I thought you would appreciate this, made of Acetal and designed by a complete nincompoop, namely me. See, even a fool can have his day, it is the self-appointed gods we should worry about. 😀
It is designed for the Scan-Speak D2608/913000, got one hundred pairs made and cost me a fortune. But I did it because I believe in DIY and that the Elsinore builders should have a reliable supply. It's going to take me years to get my money back let alone see any profit. But then again, money is not everything and those who think it is should be pitied - missing out on the more important things in life.
You know, hucksters and charlatans don't have this much fun... truly. 🙂

A few at CERN think we need to know more about Supersymmetric quantum mechanics.... via mathematical concepts from high-energy physics. Do we?

SY -- what is the most complicated compound of elements? No peeking.

And does it have any use?

You know that comment makes you nothing less than a condescending twit and whose snobbishness knows no bounds. But it is typical of your campaign to impugn my reputation and must surely be against the rules or the rules have become a joke because of you. BTW, even as a child I never read comic books and held no interest in them - music did. And yes, I do read... duh...
I am reminded of the scene in 'a fish called Wanda'.
(Archie Leach : You're a true Vegetarian, aren't you ?)
It was actually the name of his dog.
Some people here take themselves way too seriously, and it's not the peeking that bothers me, it is the poking by the high and the mighty.
BTW, on the topic of peeking, many bothersome things and of genuine concers re DBT and not one has been addressed here. That's the effect of true dogma - thou shall not question!
I actually visited CERN in August last year.

Yes you do.
the effect of true dogma
I never listen to xrated stuff without a peek.
(still fail to understand why 8MM film reel did not go beyond 60 minutes)
That was the response of a twelve year old.
Why so mean to pre-teens? Low age isn't necessarily indicative of low EQ.

That's the formula for Scarlett Johanssen. I approve.
Why so mean to pre-teens?.
I wasn't. What's OK for kids is not necessarily OK for adults. The subtext was clearly... grow up!
