Some might say it's smarter to check out the guts before making the buy.
(Day before yesterday, me bought a 15lb salmon. Had to hang the 4ft giant vertically in the fridge to fit)
Going to smoke de fish?
"Fridays TV Show" (1981) [Show J-03] "Nat E. Dred, The Rasta Gourmet" #3 [04 of 09] - YouTube
Jacco:
A 48" salmon would weigh in the region of 45.5 lbs according to the [accepted] scale of length = weight for a fresh salmon. A 15lbs salmon would measure around 33"!! But I suppose someone may have stretched it somewhat.😀😀
For what it is worth, an Atlantic Salmon caught at this time of year is the absolute best candidate for smoking or eating. The texture is perfect for either use. 😎
So SY, it seems, may be giving a subjective opinion based on 'peeking' ..or simply prefers to eat non-smoked salmon at this time of year.😉

On the subject of ganja, makes one wonder what DavidL's optimum holographic injection ratio looks like.
(in the lower Antilles, it's the Jamaican who gets smoked)
Maybe I should have made a picture of the fridge before I went shopping.

So, how ''inacurate'' is the Blowtorch ?.
By what measure do you call it ''inacurate'' ?.
Dan.
I am going by how Joachim Gerhard described the sound in his post.
I spoke not of liablility from tort but of wisdom. Such comments serve to defeat all your others. Happy 4/20.
Sorry if the truth isn't your cup of tea. I have personally dealt with a couple of "reviewers" that out right lied and continue to do so. It's how they make their living, otherwise by telling the truth they would quickly be out of a job.

I think that my logic on ganja would make some others that post on here that don't partake, still look like that they are on LSD.😉

It's not just about buying etc ... I take pics 'cause it's easier to zoom in that to bust-my-eyeballs squinting to read the part # on SOICs!

Oh stop! Now I'm drooling and looking around for some fresh dill and lemons ...

Nice review.
So now we know the outcome of John's quest, some time ago, for a low-ohmic value, high-quality potmeter: just get them custom made.
Can I buy a few ? 😉
I really like Michael's humour:
"A new 82% larger R-core power transformer provides greater reserves for low-end impact that the company says is "beyond imagination", so please don't try imagining this at home, especially if you are alone"
Jan

Leave that to professionals ?
Cloners now have both Parasound JC-3 schematic and PCB layout. I expect a few group buys.
In fact it is very similar to very old Elektor phono preamp which I built and neglected. It had LT-1028 as a input op-amp.

Best not to open that can of worms John ...I find the reviewers very consistent.
manu = manufacturer
Joachim, there you go elaborating on my simple rersponse. Do reviewers equivocate in what they write, and does it mislead paying customers?
Depends on who's paying much ....
Of course we agree on that 🙂
But the rest of the world does not care about technically correct design . . . only branding
😀
Not really , neophyte engineering may look good to some, in the real world its applicably performance that counts. Put your thoughts out there let the real world decide the performance , it's whats important ...

Can someone translate this?
narrowing the spectrum of Johnson/Nyquist (thermal) noise in the input loading stage's resistor in order to maximize its low noise capabilities

I don't think so.
Sony, Panasonic and the other Japanese manufacturers build and sell 30 million 'hi fi sets' a year.
I have a good idea of what's in there ( you probably do as well).
