How low is the DC voltage measured directly across the B+ and ground terminals of the amp when it shuts off?
Measured the voltage on the B+ and ground while it was turning on and off. It starts off normal but then drops to 9.5 then to 8.5v then the meter shows overload....
The amp has low voltage protection that will shut it down when the voltage drops too low. The problem could simply be that the voltage is dropping. You need to clamp all semiconductors to the heatsink and power it up from a supply capable of delivering more current. Insert a 15 amp AGC/ATO fuse to protect the amp in case there is a problem.
Not sure if these matters or not took two pictures of some transistors that had some discoloration around them. And if you think there isn't much else to do I will go again put it back into the case and see what happens. Thanks again.

Check the 2 transistors on the edge of the pre-amp board, they like to go bad, and in rare cases itll blow every single SMD op-amp network on the pre-amp board. I have had my fair share of JL500s.
