JL 500/1 component identification

JL 500/1 PCB 100005 Rev 10

Amp had low volume and muddy audio, then went out completely
RCA input read short. I need help identifying this part.
It’s in front of the supply capacitors

Thank you.
I changed diode and started checking voltages on 10 pin connector near +- inputs and got to pin 4 , then blew changed diode again and small pop sound emitted from test speaker . when pin 4 probed for voltage.
1. 5v
2. -14.9v
3. 13.7v
Low power input selected and gain set lowest position

So the resistor to the diode you believe is shorted? My eyesight is bad enough so could you direct me to the area of that resistor?
Also D611 and D612 are measuring short across each of them. I lifted D612 and it’s not faulty

I was praying it was muting component that I’ve read about in similar posts here. I still haven’t lifted it because my voltages weren’t similar enough

The leg with the white (corrosion?) connects with the zener that keeps blowing. Is the white indication of it being bad?
Also d611 and d612 both read shorted in circuit but read good out of board
