Thank you.
I changed diode and started checking voltages on 10 pin connector near +- inputs and got to pin 4 , then blew changed diode again and small pop sound emitted from test speaker . when pin 4 probed for voltage.
1. 5v
2. -14.9v
3. 13.7v
Low power input selected and gain set lowest position

I think you likely shorted one of the 13v pins to pin 4. The diode has a series resistor to prevent excess current. The only other connection to it, as far as I know, is the LM324.
So the resistor to the diode you believe is shorted? My eyesight is bad enough so could you direct me to the area of that resistor?
Also D611 and D612 are measuring short across each of them. I lifted D612 and it’s not faulty

It's virtually impossible that the current limiting resistor is shorted.
Where are D611 and D612?
Where are D611 and D612?
I was praying it was muting component that I’ve read about in similar posts here. I still haven’t lifted it because my voltages weren’t similar enough

Is it paint? I just noticed it and thought it was from heat or bad connection.
The diode traces back to pin 9 which is negative input for pin 8,

Zener diode. I've seen both 5.6 and 6.8v there. Either will work.
Can you give me a part number for it. It has 3 soldier points, which confuses me as all the zener I have seen is 2 points be it smd or wire in and out. It says 5.6 3j. Can I use a old style glass zener? Every pic I see is not like this one.
Thanks
