There are 200uF coupling capacitors used between the input + binding post and the output + binding post. So in a sense, yes it will form a hi-pass filter with your speaker. However, the cutoff frequency will depend on what the speaker impedance is per given frequency.
Cutoff frequency = 1/(speaker impedance x .0012566)

The high level outputs are driven directly by the high level inputs (but passes through a coupling cap). The internal amplifier for the subwoofer does not power the high level outputs. Think of the high level inputs and outputs as a pass through that the subwoofer amp is able to tap an input signal off of.
