Looking online it appears some schematics have this just placed on one leg of the primary power supply.

Thanks for the idea on that. I have a combo switch/fuse IEC plug, just go ahead and place the CL90 from L/N? I have been trying to dig through some posts about this.

Yep. I'm putting an Ametherm MS22 12103-B (120ohm 3A) on one leg of the primary as well as the CL-140A on the (ver. 2) board. Overkill? Maybe but the parts aren't expensive and if it protects the other components and extends their life then I'm all for it.
