Nonono, Wayne’s plugged in, BA18pre is still on the bench.
You don‘t want to know what „T“ is, believe me!
Are we talking F5 Turbo craziness, or is it the BA-3 pre I sent you some parts for you are thinking about? The northern 🦄 himself told me once he did not want to hear a single more word about the T so sorry I must not spell it![]()
No. You once said you didn‘t aant to hear a single more word about the turtle. Amazing you didn’t remember.
Yes, I thought about that, but since you allready mentioned the Pumpkin I disregarded itNo. You once said you didn‘t aant to hear a single more word about the turtle. Amazing you didn’t remember.

Soon we will have to make a thread about what myleftear is NOT building. It will be a shortlived thread

Interested in joining this group buy. Single ended for me please if there are spaces still available.
There is a sign up link I think in the first postInterested in joining this group buy. Single ended for me please if there are spaces still available.
here's one more greedy boy in the queue for a balanced kit, thanks a lot for this opportunity
I am in for a SE-kit when available (have registered via the official link).
Has Luxman copied the "ZM-idea" of using transformer coupled vol. control?

The small blue relays look the same (at least the blue color). They use a triode as buffer and "we" use JFETs.
I was surprised that Luxman still exists.
Will be fun to build the "ZM-version". I assume less money will be spent compared to buy a CL-1000.

I imagine their product-manager:“ woah, look, tiny blue square parts! Let’s go make this too!“(at least the blue color)
😀
Yes, the images are larger here so we can better compare the blue color:

well, I don't care 🙂
decades in repair business gave me speed to actually say when something is junk
I have no problem when people (factory, small shop, individual) make things right and ask whatever money they think its worth
But I have problem seeing obvious things simply not allowable in someone's claimed Flagship product

The transformer coupled attenuator is claimed to not take any energy out of the input signal (at least in theory) and then it has a nice isolation of the input signal which should decrease noise. This is my reason to try out this concept.......and also that it can be made for less than 20k USD.
I need to read more about the concept using a transformer with 4 windings for this purpose. It seems to be the "kiss-boy" thread.
