IPS6 and IPS7 ( for M2x)

Just a quick reminder that any and every diyAudio member can order IPS6 and/or IPS7 PCBs directly from a PCB fab, and have them shipped straight to your house in your country. It's fun, it's easy, it's inexpensive. And it's also the next step up in maturity as a diyAudio builder.

The manufacturing CAD files ("Gerbers") are freely available for download. They are attached to M2x post #3408.

IPS7 ready to go into M2X 🙂
Thanks, Åke!

I'm not sure about this but I'm thinking about fitting this IPS7 buffer in front of my F6 to replace the k170/j74 jfets and wondered if it's possible or advisable to arrange this to obtain an extra 6dB gain so that a typical 2 volt signal (ie CD player, DAC, etc) will produce full F6 output - at present, it needs about a 3.5v signal.

Could someone add some info about this, please ...
