An SMT to DIP kit is more than welcome as it ll help many DIYers to test different possibilities, and i d appreciate if a SOIC28 to DIP28 could also be added.
Like AnthonyPT I would be interested in 14 pin adapters to replace TL074s with 4 OPA 627s

will you make them available?
DIGI,
Will you make them available for purchasing via a WIKI?
Or another system?

a wiki page should be useful for interest checking and how is the kits laying-out.

Count me in for some SOIC 8 to PDIP8, SOIC28 to PDIP28 and QRP
Let me know when u have the boards.
Let me know when u have the boards.
not based on the designs of post 6 & 22
DIGI,
Put my todays needs in the WIKI.
First I thought that I should base it on your existing designs in Post 6 & 22. But do I understand you correctly that you are going to optimize based on "orders"?
For a start I could work very well with one of each of the two designs.

How about an adaptor for the RC4136/TL075, quad 14 pin dip to two dual SO-8?
Audio Control, Spectro Acoustics, and Carver used tons of the 4136.

Pin out is here:

Note that the now discontinued TL075 shared the same pin out (not the same as a TL074).

I would be concerned that the one on the bottom will run hotter, causing your 2 channels to be unbalanced. One idea to make the pcb smaller is to have opamps on both sides
I indicated a few SO8 to DIPs.
I also know someone who may be interested in a DIP or SO8 - to - RC4136 adapter.

If this really should be a problem, then it's wrong with using two separate IC's. Then you should use some other dual DIL08 opamp.macboy said:I would be concerned that the one on the bottom will run hotter, causing your 2 channels to be unbalanced.
Hi
Seems like things have gone quiet for this thread.
Ok you only seem to have two WIKI sign ups at the moment
but I think once finalised it may be a very popular item
for those with lots of odd or exotic or late opamps that just
cannot be used in crossovers or other places where the standard
fare is still TL072sor TL074s dip or some of the 28 pin ideas you
have.
regards
AnthonyPT
