I think yours and Stig Eriks designs are very intrigueing, I may try something like this myself, have some drivers that should work, but the crossovers prevents me from taking the plunge. Looks way too complicated for me... 🙁
Can you really not hear that you're listening with a motorsystem "in the way" of the sound? 😕 You don't happen to be located close to the swedish border? Would be fun to hear these first hand! 😎
Again, very inspirational work from you two! 😛

Thank you!
We are crossing over rather low (1700 Hz) so that the motor system wont be too much "in the way" I think. At least it doesnt sound like there's a problem, measurements dont indicate problems either.

I'm in love with your design
Also a very inventive and entertaining way to present your design approach!
I can't understand why this is not causing more response. Maybe everyone is overwhelmed 🙂
Many thanks to StigErik & Valentino!

More than 11 years later, the system is still playing.
Filters are now 2-pole linear phase with some extra boosts and suctions here and there to get things right.
Main amplifiers are changed to Hypex nCore. Two IcePower250ASX2 have failed, and I decided to splash out when the second one went.
Also to make tings easier and more modern I've put in one of those nice small Yamaha streamer-preamps as the daily control center for the whole shebang:
