inductor in series or not

That inductor by itself is fine. All your connecting wires could add up to the difference anyway 😎

I have another question.

The stock 1mH iron core inductor on the tweeter has DCR of 4.5R

i want to replace it with air core inductor which has a DCR of 2.24R.

Can I parallel four 9.1R 5w resistor to achieve 2.275R 20W and then putting it in series to the air inductor with 2.24R DCR?
