I can understand that, you are a bit of a grouch
That's because he is Dutch ...😉
By the way Scott, why don't you put yourself in personal lock-down here for at least two weeks? It would freshen up quite some threads here...

Hah! Humour can be a tricky thing, sometimes even amongst people you know well.
Good luck Matt! 😀
If you miss having a pint and shoot the breeze we can have a go on skype if you're up for it, been a while since I've done that and now would be a great time. 🙂 Jan is welcome too!

I've been experimenting with non use of smilies, maybe that's the issue? 😉😉🙄🙂Hah! Humour can be a tricky thing, sometimes even amongst people you know well.

Not many of us that see them when they're invisible you know 🙂
One > None

No, in this case I just couldn't resist the punchline.... 🙂
Ok, fair enough 🙂 I suspected that might be the case. I know some find my posts a pain in the derriere (I have an enquiring mind 😉 ), and some don't, c'est la vie......No, in this case I just couldn't resist the punchline.... 🙂

Ignore list?! Nah, what is that for?
Forum users may find themselves disliked for various reasons, and, I know for certain, I am no exception. Being ignored is part of most human setups, I dare also say, even in a democracy voters are ignored as soon a party wins government.

I'm sure I'm on plenty of ignore lists (I know I'm annoying as a swarm of flies), but I refuse to add anyone to my ignore list (I don't even know how to use it or where it is).
There are a few people on this forum who I almost always intensely disagree with. For me, ignoring them is not the right solution. I prefer to politely state my point of view, without attacking them personally, and then choosing not to engage them further.
I like to see the whole conversation when I read threads.

But some of them attack you personally for posting things they or their business disagree with.I prefer to politely state my point of view, without attacking them personally, and then choosing not to engage them further.
Sounds like a typical Sunday morning to me. 🙂silly, smart, nice, arrogant, caring, depressed, positive, selfish, sharing

At which point I stop listening. I'm always hesitant to block out part of the discussion.
If you ever have enough trouble with Jan, you can call me up. He's a stone's throw away from my door step if his location is right. 🙂
