It's a really good souning IC but i doubt you can still find the original ones and you will use a fake one.
You can found it in old Philips TV, like I do.

I haven't heard this particular chip in a top flight implementation (I have an old Cambridge Audio amp which uses it but that implementation sucks). Its brother and sister chips with similar internal design sound wonderful when given a decent PSU. Suggest you uprate the PSU you have on those PCBs you're showing...

I'm not complaining about TDA1514 *quality* which is good but its *availability*.
Make an LM3886 amp instead.
Good, cheap, lots of PCBs and kits to choose from.
And you can still use the PSU you made for TDA1514, in which case it will put out about the same power.
EDIT: you can probably use the same heatsink too, although with new holes, and of course, same case. Good 🙂

I dont like 3886 style, more interesting in PHILIPS TDA1521 and 1541.

I dont like 3886 style, more interesting in PHILIPS TDA1521 and 1541.
I agree that LM3886 sound sucks in comparison to the Philips chip family (I'm playing with TDA8566). I suspect there's a sound technical reason for this - PSRR at higher freqs on the Philips chips smokes the LM.
Ah but way back in 1988 decoupling these chips was a much bigger challenge as high value (class 2) SMT ceramics had yet to be made freely available on the market at a reasonable price.

Guaxian - are you feeding ac voltage to these boards separately, then rectifying it with those diodes to get the required dc voltage to those caps?
