firstly, I couldn't be bothered with bracing.. the box isn't all that big really, like I said before... the largest area with no bracing is about 35cm X 35cm... so meh 😛

as for mdf, yes, I know it makes alot of dust... I cut 4 holes for 8 inch woofers in 25mm MDF using a router... AND two 100mm ports, AND I rounded the edges of the boxes.. 😛 see my webpage down there for pics... assuming it still works 😛

doesn't sound as good as I expected.... although this sub isn't fully broken in... so that may be why.... ah well... wait a few days and see I guess.. 🙂

what horn!😕

yes you do post alot of boring pictures:clown:

Theres no real 'break in' that I know of with subwoofers apart from the first times.
and no, the frequency response will hardly change from unbroken in,to broken in so its as good as it will get. Just wait for your mind to accept it and get used to it,youl enjoy it til you hear a decent sub then youl be unhappy again😀

well, i finally got the money to buy the 305c

they WERE selling them for $179 in JB-HIFI but thanx to skinnyboy who told me that he got them for $95, i managed to get the same price, so im happy!

My mate is bringing around the wood tonight, so ill keep you posted and take pics and tell you how LOUD and LOW this thing is capable of 😀 😀 😀 😀
