What's wrong with pushing a button?
I use a remote switch like this, slightly modified to tolerate the inrush current of six SMPS600 plus the rest of my setup...... costs only a few pints.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Does the SMPS600 soft start work if not driven by SMPS Standby?

I bought the Hypex soft start modules to accomplish this. But they were probably more expensive.
Yes I know the soft start part of it isn't required. I'm just using it because it has the connections for the switch they sell and allows me to use it.
