Re: the DLCP as a DAC. The SQ feeding it digital data via toslink is quite far from what comes out using the analog input. The reason for this might be clock handling/sample rate conversion. I used the exact same toslink receiver as in my DAC. Or maybe it is a level (volume) control issue?
I was going to ask how you checked the level matching when making the comparison. I'd be rather surprised to hear that sound quality would be better after going through an extra DAC/ADC step compared to a sample rate conversion purely in the digital domain (but I haven't seriously listened to the analog inputs of the DLCP).
It should be RMS- and peak- limiters code in DSP for each band.
Unfortunately code is not a very good way to protect against errors in code... 🙂

Have you seriously listened to the digital?

But it's a way to protect drivers against bad spectrum of input signal (with intense high frequency, or not filtered infra bass). It's a generic feature in industrial active monitorsUnfortunately code is not a very good way to protect against errors in code... 🙂

The way to success is that the code that does the sanity check must be significantly less complicated than what it is protecting.

Did I miss it in the thread or manuals or is 4 way mono possible with 2 units to make stereo 4 way but operate off one volume control board possible?
would beat the heck out of mini dsp 4x10

I suggest the feature/option to disable "dlcpX setup" from controller, as it's very disturbing and error prone. So the option to configure dlcps from pc only, and leave only volume and inputs selector on controller.

+1
We use the DLCP in our PowerBoxes
and would appreciate this as standard.
Has anybody test a Hypex PSC 2.400 Modul on an usual preamp with max. 2V Output Voltage. Is this configuration possible?
More wishes 🙂
# Please add a way to export the configuration to a human readable text file with information so that a complete setting can be recreated if an old one is lost.
# Add an alternative to use also biquad as input and still be visible as graphics.

There were several comments and requests for feature updates (phase reversal, for one, and more by the various posters).
Any news?
