Hello Jan-Peter,
what will come with the new software package?
Best regards
It's a completely new written software from the ground up. Much niver GUI and stable! implementation of FIR is in the planning.
In a few days I'll update more.
Cheers,
Jan-Peter
Hello Jan-Peter,
that sounds good, almost to good to be true 😉
One of the best dsp interfaces in my opinion:
....::: HIFIAkademie.de :::....
Also nice regarding FIR:
http://www.audiovero.de/acouratedrc.php
The guy made a Version for MiniDSP and his pc-based software is claimed as one of the best available.
If would work together with him or if you could make it possible to use acourate filter on the DLCP (load them) - many people would buy one.
You could compete with DEQX then.
Best regards
Daniel

There are other free solutions 😉Also nice regarding FIR:

No need to embed a specific software: letting the user import external FIR coefficients generated using any existing software is a better and simpler solution.
WOW 🙂 all this sound fantastic! Looking forward!
And yes, if it could work from OS X it would be very good. Be it Adobe AIR or via VirtualBox...

I agree.
Update on the new Hypex HFD software;
- Written from the ground up in Delphi. Very stable and easier to implement new upgrades
- Easy to make a MAC OSX version
- Included with a speaker measuring function
- Two FIR implementations, one internal FIR calculating and one with an external FIR software
Within a few weeks we'll plan to have a BETA software avaialble

I assume that is using Lazarus - so wouldn't it be possible to also do a linux version just as easily?

We use Delphi. Only MAC, no plans for Linux... We need to limit the support time...
One request: Would it be possible to display target curves in the filter designer, for easily tuning Acoustic crossover slopes. This feature exists in the measurement program ARTA, and I find it indispensable to compose crossover slopes that summarize correctly.

Lazarus is a cross-platform Delphi/Pascal environment/compiler for Linux, MacOS and Windows.

Software engineer tried Lazarus, but it was not very stable. For the moment only Windows and MAC!

OK.
Hi Jan-Peter,
will FIR only be available with the DLCP or also with the DSP-plate-amps (eg. AS2.100)?

The first step is to make it available for the DLCP. Later on we'll go for the other DSP plate amps as well.
