As mentioned in this thread, you need the new FusionAmp modules that have the 5.x firmware to run FIR filters. I don't, and I have eight FusionAmp modules.... What I did was to bypass the Hypex DSP and use MiniDSP instead. It's quite easy to do, by simply removing the signal cable on the nCore amps and route the output signal from MiniDSP (or any other DSP) to the nCore amp input connector.

I am still very curious to see if using SigmaStudio would actually work.
Although I do think they use a couple of things to do some status checks etc with the micro/other stuff.
Unfortunately I haven't had much time lately for these kind of things.
