How To Dismantel A NEC1545V For Projection

heres a little how to if your thinking of using a
NEC 1545V monitor


first thing is to remove the plastic covers on the rear of the monitor

once the cover is removed there will be 4 silver screws 2 black screws in the powersuply plug and 2 risers for the vga plug holding the shield on the monitor remove all 8 and slide the shield forward 3/4" the lift to the left to remove it

then thats it for the frame
now remove the 2 black screws that hold the ribon cable on the lcd and pull up to remove it that will expose the 2 tiny screws under it remove them now

now you have to bend the 7 little tabs out of the way to alow the
lcd frame to seperate from the backlight you can do this with your fingers

now we are able to peel the covers off the pcb's i used a persision flathead screwdriver the cover is only glued on the outside edges so dont insert the driver more than 1/4" or you will hit the pcb
this i think is the hardest part of the whole prosses so take your time heres the first insert on the horizontal pcb
