Oh!this model can works at two mode ,one is 4*225w/4ohm other is 2*450W/2ohm,so it has two name,4channel is G230PSD-4,2channel is G230PSD-2.

Special AMP use TAS5630
We have finished one type of special amp use tas5630,PBTL mode ,one channel,module dimensions :90mm diameter,45mm height.450W power out.
My friends use it in special way,6Khz-60Khz.
when we debugging it,we connect it with our 2ohm speaker,play music ,found sound excellent.
I think maybe damp factor higher in this mode.
Maybe some friends can use it as audio amp,I have tested indeed,sound excellent.

i designed an amp with TAS5630 recently,here's the picture of PCB board ,with switching power on board ,and output 2*300W/4ohms,also it can be pBTL to increase the output power

Does anyone on this site have a functioning dual channel Class D amp that will run on a 12V power supply run over 400W on each channel and run as low as 1.33ohms?

our new amp have finished ,it is 4channel amp ,900Wrms power out,good performance.
Pfc stage use Natural Interleaving Transition-Mode ,so it can deliver out more power and no audible noise .
We have not use TI PFC+LLC power solution,it only deliver out 300w continuous output.
We use special circuit for more power and good performance.

We developed this amp because the Ti recommended power supply so weak.
250W continus power out,600W at 5 minutes,I think it is not fit for tas5630 amp power supply, it's paradoxical sensation,if amp out power enough,the SMPS so little,if smps enough where the amp energy comes from.

We test our new G230PSD power supply at 46V@2ohm,it continous about 1hours,of course fan cooling system inside,it has variabl speed depond on the chip tempreture.
Many friends like it and send mail to us,now we can provide it to every friends .
Other discovery is TAS5630 have nice sound at PBTL mode.so we recommend make it as PBTL mode.

Oh!you can try interleaved boost circuit,TI or LT all ok! some IC can be selected.
Total efficiency about >80%.(95% dc-dc/85% tas5630)

I sucsessfully used Sumida 12 uH inductors with saturation current 8.5A RCR1616NP-120M. I bought it at our local electronics component shop in Moscow. It was most powerful inductor in this inductance range.

Do you have tested suggestion? I tried many circuits and didn't got 95% efficiency 12 to 50V with 14 A load. I got only 90-92%, it's about 2 times more heat than 95%!

thousands of times testing.we confirm our tas series inductors, it is our customer order inductor ,works very well for tas series amp. temperature rise very lower,full loader continous working never exceed 40℃(20℃ room temperature).price lower.performance very good.
