Hi Thawach,

Thanks for the suggestion.

Unfortunately I have no idea how to go about implementing such functionality 🙂.

I guess it would require that the user be connected to the Internet at the time that Hornresp is opened, so that the program could automatically check for the latest version number stored on a file server somewhere.

Hornresp Update

Hi Everyone,

For a user connected to the Internet at the time that Hornresp is opened, the program now checks to see if the latest release is being used. An advisory message is generated if the version of Hornresp being used is not the latest.

Note that the most recent version will not be automatically downloaded by Hornresp. It remains necessary for the user to do this manually, thereby retaining full control over the download process. I feel that this is the safest option.

Hornresp Version 29.20 Product Number 2920-120926 refers.

My thanks to Thawach for suggesting the enhancement, and to Sabbelbacke for continuing to host Hornresp for all of us.

Well this is interesting. IMO it would be really beneficial from here on out to have a rolling change log posted so we know what to look for while we are testing.
Can you make the link clickable?

I started to track all the changes some time ago but let loose of it when my first born arrived and I didn´t really miss it later on, since I follow this thread and simply use the most recent version all the time.

But the thought of it came to my mind this morning, too. It would be nice too have, yes... I could simply take David´s posts about the changes whenever a new version is done and add them to a changelog, if it´s ok with david.
