Goto used to have Beryllium which is fairly radioactive and expensive.Then their units are rated to 5 W (not 120 W PMPO) which is fair when played in a room with boundaries not too distant. We're talking about efficiency and polar dispersion , better with no compression when hearing at high volumes . Never heard nor GOTO nor CD in my room,I prefer to watch the photographs!

Don't want to mislead you into thinking you get something for nothing. Like I said, the RS52 is great for the price...but it is not in the same league as a good compression driver with substantially more diaphragm area.
I also said the RS52 might make a good candidate for a (quick opening) constant directivity conical waveguide...but you are suggesting a variable directivity device with relatively slow throat expansion. Personally, I haven't had much success with domes in "tight" horns...they may be a better match with compression drivers.
Along with your other system objectives, you need to decide the polar pattern you want (should complement the woofer and tweeter). Polar pattern will help guide flare selection. Flare selection can influence driver selection etc etc. You have probably heard it a hundred times, but it's all about balancing tradeoffs.

Thanks for sharing. It looks very good (except that HF mega peak of the driver), and it turns out to have a pretty good low end, far lower than I'd expect a 10" round horn can do.
Measurements of the RS52N in a 10-inch-waveguide/horn can be found here! German link, but pictures are available...
do you happen to know which horn/waveguide that was used?
We couldn't tell if it is actually Dayton, as it was sold on German Ebay marked as tractrix horn (which it clearly isn't!), but the seller also has some elliptical waveguide, that PE doesn't sell.

Now to find a midrange dome which can be used without a tweeter... If it had not been for the 14khz breakup of the Dayton it could be an alternative.
I like the idea of a driver with 500 to 20 khz bandwidth and with the dynamics of a compression driver, yet the smoothness of a dome tweeter.

BMS4592 MidThe reason im considering a dome midrange for my mid horn is because all 2" compression drivers are either titanium or alu diapraghm which sound harsh to my ears.
4" dome - reversed 2446 without phase plug and rear cover.

The phase plug is not easy to be removed, and there's a 'tunnel' if removed. The 'rear' side of an ordinary compression driver is a dome, which is much easier to deal with such application.

I don't heard this. There are a few similar system somewere in Moscaw, including with vitavox s2.. short (4" throat) tractrix horn, 2xx Hz cutoff. no measurements, no tweeter info.how does it sound ? and why should it reversed sound better ?
people said - sound is good 🙄 (no chamber\phase plug effects)
sensitivity surely less.
