I'm sick, couldn't be bothered searching, or modeling it myself, so.. has anyone done a horn loaded brahma? I was thinking the 12inch. We all know how inefficient the drivers are, but are apparently very high SQ, so, is a horn a good idea? 🙂

It seems to want an extremely high compression ratio which isnt good. Just use two of what u have already 😉

The smaller the membrame, the longer the horn needs to be to get low. If you use 12" or smaller membrames, use multiples for bigger Sd or don't expect much low end in an one-person-moveable enclosure.

No point! The twelve is powerful enough or,or using two would ensure insane results. People just need to realise huge path lengths will be required.
It would be smaller with huge SPL hehe, I wonder how a really long throw driver like that will look in Hornresp or something similar.

why horn an 18"???? unless u have the room for it! i just have enough room for my 35hz basshorn im building for my room! i have to re-arrange everything tonite for it 😛
