nothing made for a computer has a RCA output for a sub ... to my knowledge. not even the big $ soundblaster audigy now it does have outputs for a computer surround sound setup with sub but not a rca output the only way i would do this is to get a reciever... and use a headphone plug to rca adapter and use that to yer reciever .... thats the way i do it anyways ...

You can get RCA out from your computer. M-Audio makes audiophile grade sound cards and audio capturing devices. It has a dongle that plugs into the sound card that then outputs in to thier respective channels.

A 7.1 surround sound card can be had for under $100 street price.

you could get a much MUCH cheaper sound card that has 1/8" mini stereo outs for fronts, rears, and sub/center...you could hook up your current mains to the front output, and use a headphone jack --> RCA adaptor to hook up your powered sub...if it is in fact powered you wont need a reciever...and you can install it yourself...veery easily
