I saw this thread just the other day, so I thought I'd post something since I already own Mandy's creation... Here it is mounted with a DL-103R. I first tried the supplied lock nuts by Denon, but ended up using a threaded weight from an old Supex headshell for tighter coupling between headshell and cart, plus I think the extra mass of helps etc. Sorry for the amateurish photos. BTW, the threaded weight doesn't look that "rough" in person.
The wood is locally called kamagong, which belongs the ebony family....
