I used to cut front baffles on my CNC mill. Any shape hole I wanted with accuracy to 1/1000th of an inch. Not bad for wood work.
That's definitely the way to do it if you can!

It's all cool. Anyone reading this thread will get more than they bargained for in information!😛
I have a tabletop model which I mounted on an Ikea "Vika Fagerlid" table foot with heavy bolts 😉 The result is in the photo below.

IKEA supports DIY audio in SO many ways... Good to see everyone getting creative out there!🙂

Can a CNC machine cut perfectly square inside corners, or only rounded?
Kenneth
Limited to the radius of the cutter.
For SHARP corners, you need to use a chisel (and skill).
True. You can get cutters as small as 1/8 inch which doesn't leave much material to remove.
And if it's a thu-hole, you can use a hack saw blade (and more skill) to get nice sharp corners.
When I did notched diamond inlays in my recent pool cue build, I used the CNC mill to make the pocket and then cleaned the corners with an x-acto knife.
