HK Citation 16/A problem

Hello all. Thank you to everyone for you input and assistance.
Bigskyaudio - Yes, I did replace all the outputs with the 024's pretty early in my original troubleshoot, see below.

So, a bit of explaining is due. I have two 16A's. One is original sans recapping and upgrading components on the input board. Outputs are original 1B05's as well. That amp is solid as a rock, but doesn't see many hours. It's always had a pampered life.

The other amp, and problem child, has gone through a major reconstruction since I started this thread. It's quite the Frankenstein, all new layout, new chassis, totally dual mono (4 bridges, 2 power cords, two power switches), soft start built and installed, wood face plate, Flying V eliminated, etc, etc. It's a beast. But interestingly, I just pulled it from the system to work out a few kinks the other day. I have some "mechanical" issues to work out and one sonic concern. Mechanically I can hear buzz and resonance from the trannys and from the cabinetry itself. So I will bush the trannys as to better isolate them and secure other sheet metal parts. Sonically, I find my new creation somewhat sterile. It's lost some of its warmth. On that front I'm going to shorten up the harnesses (both A and B side) from the input PCB to the heatsink assembly (which is all new and non-stock). Next, swap out the input wiring from the RCAs to Input (currently using good microphone shielded wire, but it's super small gauge). Going to try high quality "guitar" of thicker gauge. Lastly I need to stare at my Zoble to insure I didn't brain-fart something or other. Anyway, once I get it back together I might post an update and perhaps a photo or two. It's been a fun and interesting project. Sort of the point to this hobby we enjoy. Cheers gentlemen, thanks again
