Did you ever replace the outputs in this amp at any time ?

I’m wondering since the outputs in your pics are IRF3710.

If you replaced the outputs the 3710 causes problems in the 4080 based amps and they should be IRF3710Z (Z prefix improtant ). Only pointing this out .

If they were replaced at some point and you didn’t replace them with the Z version I would replace the HIP4080 again and the outputs to the Z version

I can confirm this. There are least 10 amps so far i've repaired based on HIP4080 and none of them worked properly with IRF3710. IRF3710Z made the difference, so i would not even try with the IRF3710...

unfortunately, even with the irf3710z and a brand new 4080 the entire one side of outputs shorted? I will not attempt to repair this amplifier again.

Did you confirm that you had a good signal before you installed the outputs?

i could really use help on some part identification.
I need the values of the diodes in this side of the output section.
D7C, D8C, D203C, D202C

They are generic 1N4148 type diodes.

Ok, the 1R resistor R36C burnt open? I had just replaced it, so maybe that will point towards my issue with amplifier.
