hifi tuning fuse -amp overheating ?

Not to forget that you are loosing the advantage of quantum tunnelling with this type of construction.

LMAO,

But will they work better if I put them outside in the winter to cryo treat them.
NB they will sound different for sure, the caps will corrode 😀

I like the ones that have a springy tell tail when they blow, you can put a limit switch and a flashing light on them, 😀

A 24 hour soak in a cess pit would ensure that the optimum balance of protenoids for unparalleled performance.

I think its already been done. 🙄

The unparalleled performance is beyond compare, you get a free temperature test on your mains tranny.

There is something wrong with this fuse, look turn it around and the mains Tx turns into a room heater..😀

I'll try the 10 A version...:redhot:😱 turn it off. I can't its welded the mains switch.😀
Well the fuse has survived.

Revered in audiophile circles for creating gorgeous sounding no-compromise capacitors which grace some of the world’s best electronic designs, Mundorf capacitors are built using a special conductive material. Ultra-pure silver is impregnated with gold creating a material with gobs of resolution and golden warmth; glorious tonal color with truly outstanding dynamic shading, essentially the best of both gold and silver and absolutely no compromise. Each Supreme fuse uses this special material for its end-caps and conductive filament and pure silver solder connects everything. Inside the ceramic casing, Supreme fuses further distinguish themselves by receiving proprietary resonance and quantum treatments

This claim is made for a mains fuse, ladies and gentlemen. A MAINS FUSE.

I must have missed this in engineering school.

$1000 mains leads are also total Snake Oil. Any heavy gauge lead will do the same job.

If you want to pay the supplier £100M for gold wire between the power station and your home, then it might hold some truth - UTTER C**P.

For G*ds sake the return to the power station is earth. The same earth that we grow our vegetables in.

Someone's going to chime in now and say that you ought to plant Golden Wheat in the return path rather that Green Beans.

It's a F*****g J**e.

If you believe that a power cable affects sound quality even in principle
So by the logic
The small fuse that came after him should also affect
And I do believe that the power cords
Well as their effect on the audio and the video especially they are connected to LCD
I am a photographer in second I notice the effect of electrical cable on the image

Yes, when I operate my equipment without a power cord, there's a lot less sound.

Look, you got hosed. It's difficult to admit it, that's OK. But don't expect that experienced technical people will go along with you just because you'd prefer to rationalize it. If you ask a question, people will answer it, but they're not going to play make-believe.

As mentioned above the if the power cable is of sufficient gauge then you will not notice any difference between some standard wire and equivalent gauge "audiophile" stuff.

The only times cables have made any difference is when I went from bell wire speaker cable to some thicker stuff (Cheap and heavy duty) and when I went from the worlds cheapest interconnects to some home made silver ones (which only cost about £20 to make).

The small fuse comes before the decoupling caps in the amp so any potential differences between fuse types is wiped out by the effect of the amps circuitry. The amplifier circuitry also has a built in rejection for power supply noise, fluctuations etc... These design features alone make it virtually impossible for a fuse to have any noticeable affect.

Any perceived sound quality changes are exactly that perceived.

Isn't it nice that they always overstep the mark? If only they restricted themselves to saying vaguely plausible things it would be much harder to laugh at them and their gullible customers. Fortunately the nice thing about fools is that they love to advertise the fact.
