Help Want To Use Active & Passive Tone Controllers Together At Same Time...

Are you sure you are not trying to over-power the speakers with "more bass" when the problem is the speakers?
Translation: excessive distortion.

Even the old school "bass and treble" controls will boost or cut more than any system can handle.

Thanks for answering And Sorry For My Bad English Yes You Are Right Old School "bass and treble" controller will
Work for me but Where Can I Get Shematic Or Circuit Diagram??

I tried Every Thing And make Many Types of Tone Controllers but they works separately.. But My Basic Aim Is To Use Active Tone Controller with Passive Tone Controller For Getting Enough Output Results But It Is So Hard to combine Them together...

We would need much more details. Trying to connect 2 tone controls in series isn't something we would recommend.

Passive bass and treble circuits are very 'lossy' (they cut the signal by about 20db) and have a very high output impedance.

I try to explain every thing..
Have you Any Solution Or Having Any Idea So You can Easily share with me..
Thanks Mooly in Advance..

A really good simple one is the base-mid-treble JDS sells. The schematic is right from Intel and it works. It is on their WEB.
Depending on shipping, probably hard to build one for the price.

Books like the Douglas Self books, Old Walt Jung and Don Lancaster had schematics. There are really only a few "standard" ways of doing it.

++ for what Mooly says. No reason to do passive line level.

Again, I suggest you look at everything from a systems viewpoint. If you think you are going to eq your way to 30Hz room shaking bass with a 6 inch woofer, it is not going to happen!

In The Last you Give A Good Example
But I Use 12inch Speaker pair In my room I Made The Vintage Amplifier My Self And Design a Active Op Amp Tl072 Bass Treble Circuit for It It Sounds Good
But Bass Is Too Low I Just Want to
Increase Bass for shaking speakers
Ok now let me clearly explain you
With full details..
As u know active tone controller output goes to amp input and passive tone controller output should connect with amp output mean where speakers are connected but I don't know where to connect input if passive Bcoz when I connect output of active tone controller to the input of passive tone controller then it gives very loud noisy sound that is the problem I can't solve then I came here for help thanks..

Thanks, but I haven't got all the answers 🙂

There are just to many unknowns with what you are trying to do.

I Have A Amplifier With Active Tone Controller And That Is Working Fine But I Want More Bass And Treble in My Amp Mean Dual
Bass And Treble..
So Simply I want To Use active And Passive Tone Controllers At Same Time For dual Bass And Dual Treble..

So at face value you have a normal amp with a normal active tone control. We'll assume it is in the line stages and not wrapped around the negative feedback loop of the power amp.

Without knowing any more it sounds like you want to add a second active stage (that would have a nominal voltage gain of one) effectively in series with the existing stage.

So you have to decide on a suitable design (or kit) that suits the power supplies available and then you have to break the audio chain perhaps at the output of the existing stage and add this new stage in series... BUT it is not something we would really advise.

Thank u so much Mooly I Think Now I Got The Main Point I Really Appreciate your way of Explanation But Can You Give Me Example Through Diagram??

How it is done depends entirely on your amp and how it is configured.

Another idea is just to alter the tone control in the amp to maybe move the turnover points to give more boost at either a higher or lower frequency to suit your speakers.

Thanks And I Am Using Tpa 100d Amplifier with tone controller based on op amp I send you some pictures of my amp..
