Help please with my poorly Stasis 2

Now Andy, I know nothing about the Restek, so you will have to find someone else to help you tackle that one.

Lets get the Stasis purring properly first and bedded in over a few weeks of listening on those speakers of yours. Then we will check the bias /offset again, for maybe one last fine tune.

Everyone can learn a lot on this forum, so well done so far.
Oh I won’t be lifting the lid of the Restek for a long time mate 😁

Looks like I have another project then 😩
My intentions are to use it in a second system for a month or two with some cheap speakers that I have .
I can’t risk a catastrophic failure of the amp AND the one off speakers.

There is no room in the Stasis chassis for a speaker protector, but yes, an external housing might be the go.

Is anyone aware of a commercial offering that might be available ready to go? Will save the member building one from scratch.

Good idea Andy, on starting out with cheap speakers. We will check the bias and DC offset after a month anyway.

Ebay have some relay based in finished in chassis, but do they work? There are some proven ones here on diyaudio, just needs chassis and soldering.
I bought one of ebay some time ago, relay based , it had a speaker fatal flaw,, the ground from amplifier had no pin, just the hot ones, a design flaw, and potentially a expensive one.
