Just got this panel but i dont have the orginal psu.
Do you know the specs of the original psu:
Output voltage and MAX Output Amperes.

From looking at the power supply being sold with a couple other Nview panels on ebay it looks like a standard barrel connection.
The power supply shown is quite large so it likely takes a fair amount of juice. If you dont get some real info shortly you could find a low voltage/ampherage adapter somewhere and see if you can get any indication of power on like an led or something. At least that way you could find out the polarity. If you do, you likely know that you would not want to use any kind of power supply with much power or leave it connected long enough to do anything but light an indicator.
A quick look shows that even the ones with the weird 5 pin connector use 12V and as high as 2.9amps.

anyway next project is stripping and casing this awesome Medium Futur ohp. There are 2 8x8 Papts @ 24V and it´s bit noisy 🙂 Medium Future 10
Im going for mdf case with 4x 12x12 fans @ 6V...
Ill post few pictures when its ready.

It may be obvious, but you are not the first person to have this problem. There are a lot of threads talking about this and one mentions that it can be harmful to use less power than the device requires. My suggestion may be a bad idea! Since there are so many posts and someone may even have had the exact model and had to find a power supply. Don't risk your panel.
