I got a reply from Hypex, they confirmed pin 34 must go to ground to pull module on and strapping it to low supply can damage something. I still don't understand what was wrong with the first wiring.

Sorry to hear this Gluca. Hypex will not sell the OEM to you.
You would have to purchase the HG & bypass the input stage.
Did you check signal input is correctly connected ?

I know, I got them from an inmate here on Diyaudio. Yes, input is ok... in any case most probably I fried something when tried to pull pin 34 down to low supply.

Because it was not working when grounded and I had checked everything multiple times... dumb maybe but I was hopeless
